Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils to enhance the well-being of the
body, mind, and spirit. This treatment has its roots in the most ancient healing practices of humankind. The benefits of aromatherapy include aiding relaxation, reducing muscle tension,relieving stress, boosting energy levels,relieving insomnia, reducing anxiety, providing clarity of mind and bringing the body back into a state of balance.Many complementary medicine therapists consider aromatherapy essential oils as the best way to look and feel well. I use aromatherapy oils blended with a choosen carrier oil for body massage.These oils are tailored to the needs of the client in any given treatment. Aromatherapy has become an integral part of alternative medicine.Knowledge and experience are essential when practicing aromatherapy. You have to know what oils are used for what purpose and how they can be safely applied.
